Kindling a passion for sheep and fiber arts

Welcome

Tall Timbers Farm is located in the hills above the Columbia River in Southwest Washington. Our sheep graze on pasture and silvopasture  on 6 acres of timber land. Their beautiful fleeces are for hand spinning, felting , weaving and other fiber art crafts. Check out our shop and prepare to start your next project.

Healthy Sheep Grow Healthy Fiber

Our sheep forage on grass and weeds along with home grown vegetables and local orchard grass hay. They love Pumpkins! We use natural dewormers as much as possible along with apple cider vinegar, natural minerals and Garlic Barrier, to keep them healthy. They are a primitive breed of sheep and thrive well in our cooler climate.

Fiber Art

The wool from our sheep is used for spinning, felting, weaving and other fiber crafts. I use my hand spun yarn for primitive rug hooking and provide customers with hand dyed yarn and original patterns to make projects of their own.  Are you looking forward to jumping into fiber arts? Take a look at our shop and information pages.

At Tall Timbers Farm, we are a family-owned and operated farm that has been providing fresh, high-quality produce to our local community for over 8 years. Our passion for farming and dedication to sustainable practices has allowed us to grow and expand while maintaining our commitment to quality.

Our farm offers a certain number of “shares” to our members, of our vegetables and fruits and it may contain other items such as eggs, herbs, or flowers. Each week the members receive a bag/box with a variety of produce that is ready for harvest that week.  Eggs will be included every other week with the Vegetable CSA.
